‎١_ شتى جراحات الهوى إهمال

1-

‎‏The various wounds of Love is

‎‏Negligence.

***

‎٢_ في كفي تترنح ومضة وأفكر فيك

‎فتختنق

2-

A dancing spark is in my palm smothered by thinking of you.

***

‎٣_يطوف الناس بالبيت العتيق

‎وأطوف حولك علني أتطهر

3-

Peoples’ ritual is to  circumambulate

around the Kabaa

and I’m roaming around you to become immaculate.

‎٤_ ويسبقني الخيال

‎إليك أصبو

‎وكم للشعر يشتاق الخيال

Imagination paces me towards you cravingly

Hence, poetry yearns for imagination.

‎٥_ أسرتِ من الدلال

‎لديكِ قلبي

‎ويحلو الأسر في سجن الدلال

You seized my heart with pampering

And how sweet is being in a prison of indulgence .

‎٦_ وتحت مظلة العشق

‎صحوت وقبلتي أرق

‎‏ Under the umbrella of Love

I woke up with the kiss of tenderness

‎٧_ والجسم يعشق قبل الروح أحيانا

The body falls in love before the spirit does sometimes.

‎٨_ مجنون من فكر يوما

‎أن يسكن بيت العشاق.

He who thinks to live among lovers

is crazy.

‎٩_ أنا من عيونك أستقي

‎فعلام طرفك ناعس

I quench my thirst of your eyes, then, why are your eyes sleepy.

‎١٠_ وبشاطئى أنت جمال

10-

You are the beauty of my shore.

‎١١_ مهما ارتحلت فأنني لك ذاكر

‎ما غبت عني

‎وما ارتضيت بديلا

No matter how far I wander

Know that you’re always on my mind and you are irreplaceable.

‎١٢_ وحدي أنا فتعالي دثريني

‎وأقرئي لي ما تيسر من أناشيد البروج

Being lonesome,

come and cover me with

Your garment

And recite for me

of the constellations’ Ballade .

‎١٣_ بك يا حبيبة

‎صرت اعرف من أكون

‎أنا صرت مجنونا

‎وما أحلى الجنون

Because of you my beloved I have known myself,

I became insane

and how beautiful is insanity

‎١٤_ أهوى البعيد وكل فاتنة لها شهب تنير

I’m fond of what is far away at a distance

And every glamorous being has a charming illumination.

‎١٥_ ما زلت قهوتي في الصيف

‎ ومعطفي لكل شتاء

15-

You will be always my

Summer Coffee

And

Winter warm coat.

‎١٦_ أبوح وبعض البوح من ألم دواء

I reveal it, and some emotional disclosure of pain is a relief .

‎١٧_طردت الشك من قلبي

‎فعشقك دونه جهل البشر

I expelled doubt of my heart

Your Love is beyond peoples’ ignorance.

‎١٨_ فتشت في كل اللغات فلم أجد لي مثل حبك من لغة

I searched all the world languages

I found that your Love is most eloquent

‎١٩_مهما رحلت فإن حبك حاضر

‎بين الجوانح ساكن بفؤادي

Wherever you go faraway

Your Love still inhabits deep in my heart.

‎١_ السياسة كالحب يصلحها العقل

‎ويفسدها القلب

‎‏1_

Politics is like love

‎‏   The brain repairs it,

‎‏  and the heart spoils it.

‎‏‎٢_ الحب كالمصعد إن لم يأخذك إلى أعلى

‎فحذار أن تصعد

‎‏2_

Love is just like an elevator,

‎‏if it doesn’t raise you up, Be cautious getting on it.

‎٣_في الحب كلما زاد اللهب أشعل

‎فؤادك وأقترب

‎‏In love, when the flame increases, rekindle your heart, and get closer.

‎٤_ في الحب :من لم يف بالغرض فبقاؤه مرض

‎‏ 4_

In love: whoever does not fulfill his promises, his existence is illness.

‎٥_ ليس هناك من طريق إلى الحب

‎الحب هو الطريق

There is no specific way to love, Love is the way.

War has many paths

‎‏ And love has more ways.

‎٧_الصباحات الدافئة لا تعني بالضرورة

Warm mornings do not necessarily mean that I am in love.

‎‏Love is souls’ embracing.

‎والحب مرايا التلقي

Culture is the art of flexibility, poetry is the art of entity,

and love is the receptive mirrors.

‎‏ Soft heart

‎‏ and swiftly falling in love.

‎١٧_ من علمني حرفا صرت له ذكرا

Whoever teaches me one letter, will live in my memory forever.

them.
